Faults, rewiring, and compliance certificates
Tripping breakers, dead plugs, and load shedding damage are the most common callouts. We trace the fault before we start swapping parts, so you're not paying to replace a breaker that was never the problem.
Full rewires are quoted room by room, not as one lump sum, so you can see exactly what's driving the cost. We also issue the certificate of compliance (CoC) you're legally required to have when selling a property or claiming on insurance after an electrical incident.
Every job leaving without a valid CoC is one we consider unfinished.
Plumbing
Leaks, blockages, and geysers
Burst pipes and blocked drains get a same-day response wherever possible, since every hour a leak runs is more water damage to a ceiling, wall, or floor. We find the actual source before opening anything up.
Geyser replacements are quoted with the unit shown to you before we fit it, not swapped for whatever's in the van. We also check the surrounding pipework while we're there, since a geyser rarely fails in isolation.

After-hours callouts
A real electrician or plumber answers the phone directly, day or night. No call centre, no ticket number, no being told someone will call you back tomorrow.
We quote before we start work, every time, even at 2am. If we can't fix the problem on the spot, there's no callout charge, so calling us out to take a look is never a risk on your side.

Burst geyser pipe: repaired same afternoon
Called out just after midday for water coming through a kitchen ceiling. The geyser itself was fine, the failure was a corroded pressure relief pipe that had been slowly weeping for weeks before it finally gave way.
We replaced the pipework, pressure-tested the line, and had the water back on before 4pm. The homeowner's insurer required photos of the failed section for the claim, which we provided as standard.

Distribution board upgrade: compliant and re-certified
An old, undersized distribution board was tripping under normal load, long before any fault. We replaced it with a correctly rated board and circuit breakers, properly labelled per circuit rather than left as a mystery for the next electrician.
Finished with a full test and a fresh certificate of compliance, which the homeowner needed to finalise a bond application.
